While everyone coming along is there to unite and enjoy a fantastic day, we would really appreciate your co-operation regarding various safety matters.
Access to Lower Briggate and the main stage event space will be controlled by security checkpoints. Bag checks and random searches will be in place so please only bring with you what you really need. This will really help us to carry out bag checks quickly. No alcohol is allowed into either of the event spaces but water and soft drinks in sealed bottles, drinks for babies and young children and small amounts of food will be allowed. Dogs on leads are welcome but please be responsible for your pets!

Between 11:30 and 12:00 the Radio Aire Leeds Pride Playlist will help to get everyone into the mood.
first direct Main Stage Show time 3:00pm- 8:00pm Starting at 3:00pm as the parade reaches Lower Briggate your hosts Phil Oldershaw and Miss Sordid Secret will open the show and will be joined by the fantastic line up of: Mickey Taylor Singer Actor and Dancer, Mickey’s second album Midnight Palace was released earlier this year. Tranqua Lite Winners of the New Conservatory Acoustic Summer Battle in conjunction with Leeds Pride. Tranqua Lite are a 3 piece band from Leeds who describe themselves as a high octane acoustic alt rock trio from Leeds. Idyllic and melodic their original sound is making inroads into the Leeds Music scene. The Brazen Five piece Leeds based indie rockers The Brazen formed in 2015, after being brought together by their shared musical influences including the Stone Roses, Queen, the Who and classic British brit pop melodies. They have recently gained the support of BBC Introducing and are about to go out on tour. Lucy Whittaker Graduate of Leeds College of Music, 20 year old Lucy Whittaker’s punchy Electro Pop sound, teamed with her energetic performances are fast generating her a reputation as ‘one to watch’ with a strong and rapidly increasing fanbase. Her debut single reached #1 on the Hype Machine ‘Popular on Twitter’ chart, and gained international radioplay, whilst her latest release ‘I’m Not Ever Coming Back Again’ hit 18k views within week 1, and gained support from BBC Introducing in West Yorkshire. static1.squarespace.com.jpeg Paul Stone Paul Stone is a Yorkshire born swing singer who has worked with a host of huge names in the industry, including legendary song writer Diane Warren. He has also received support from local press and even the BBC with DJs Steve Wright and Paul O' Grady praising him on Radio 2. Taking over the reins at 4:30, your hosts Kira and Owain Wynn Evans will be joined by a wealth of local and international talent including: Taken This trio are Ireland’s newest Boy Band. They have recently opened for the Vamps and Scouting for Girls and they are now out on the festival circuit. The Viaduct Showgirls The cast of the Internationally acclaimed Viaduct Showgirls & Boys will be performing two incredibly iconic themed show numbers. Choreographed by the Viaduct’s show team choreographer Francesca, you can be sure that this will be an incredibly camp, vibrant and uplifting masterpiece. Open your eyes and prepare to be entertained as you journey through a visually extravagant performance to stimulate the senses as The Viaduct Showgirls give you a taste of their brand new show. During Leeds Pride… You will have arrived in the Big Apple! And Loads More...........................
